SO I found that most people didn't know who I was and that I made up the outfit for Miku :/

So I will probably save up and buy her plush online and carry it around with me so we can both match...plus she's cute. 

I found that the cosplay contest in Edmonton had about 25 people but only 3 prizes, plus the Idol Gakuen prize because their theme was music this year.

 Where as at Otafest in Calgary, they actually place you in either the beginner, mid or advance cosplay category, depending how many outfits you've worn altogether. And they handed out 9 prizes, which I find alot better and fair.
